NorSled is excited to share that several of our adopted and available dogs are competing in the 2026 Pet Lovers’ Choice Awards hosted by Best Friends Animal Society. This is a wonderful opportunity for our rescue to earn grant funding that directly supports our lifesaving work.

How You Can Help

Grants are awarded to the rescues with the highest number of votes, and you can vote once per dog every day. Voting is completely free unless you choose to purchase additional votes to boost your favorites.

Your daily votes truly matter. With your help, we can bring home much‑needed grant funds to support medical care, transport, and second chances for the huskies we serve.

Pup of the Month - Meet Winter!

Meet Winter – Handsome, Loyal, and Full of Heart Winter is a strikingly handsome husky mix who turns heads wherever he goes - but it’s his loyal, thoughtful nature that truly makes him special. Once he bonds with a trusted human, he’s all affection—seeking out pets, attention, and quiet companionship and is very protective. Winter is housebroken and well-mannered. He’s easy to leash and absolutely loves his walks, though he may pull a bit during the first mile (he’s just that excited!). Winter would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who understands his gentle soul and husky quirks. Older, respectful kids only, because he's strong - and did we mention affectionate? He’s ready to be someone’s devoted adventure buddy and cuddle companion.
